Outdoor Learning Programmes for Schools

Working outdoors offers unique opportunities for children to develop and learn in a way not possible in a classroom. A structured outdoor education programme can be used to boost the confidence of children who might struggle in a competitive, academic environment. A curriculum which includes outdoor learning allows Headteachers to add value across the school and to offer something unique to prospective families. We are also very happy to provide programmes and one-off days for home educated children.

We can provide bespoke outdoor learning for any school, home education group or age group.  These can include:

  • Whole school events e.g. a series of one-off days delivered a day at a time to each year group over the course of a week, perhaps to fit in with National Science Week or as part of a creativity programme.

  • An ongoing programme for single Year Groups, or smaller subsets, providing structured progression over several days during the course of a term or a school year.

As one satisfied teacher put it:
“It’s what as a teacher I have always wanted – proper classroom education, done outdoors”.
